Every breakthrough in life comes first as an idea; it only becomes clearly visible or tangible after you have worked it out. The path of success is to commit yourself to what you’re involved in. Success in business does not happen by accident; you’re up for success only when you’re focussed and determined. The potential of every idea is only revealed when you apply or commit yourself to it. Rome wouldn’t have been built if there were no workers to work out the idea of building Rome!

8. Successful life principles include seeing the big picture or the great future in what you’re involved in although it may be currently small. You can’t be a leader in any field or business except you can see ahead. Succeeding in business involves putting in all efforts to render quality services or bring out quality products thereby convincing the market or consumers that you can give them the best at the most affordable price. You are up for success only when you keep going despite the threats of the competition to overshadow your business especially in the early stages; you can’t maintain this kind of dogged determination except you can see the big picture.

Becoming successful in business also involves having good customer service; Sam Walton is quoted as saying that only the customer has power to fire every one in the firm by simply changing their patronage. Without patronage from buyers any business would close shop. Therefore good customer service means treating your customers or clients well so as to make them return a second time. The ultimate aim is to keep them as customers for the life of your business. Succeeding in business certainly involves listening to the complaints or suggestions of your patronage and putting the necessary machinery in place to make sure that they are satisfied with your products or services.

10. The path of success in business is never complete without talking about advertisement. Success in business is not possible if people do not know what services or products you have to offer. No matter how good you are at winking, if you do it in the dark no one would recognize your ability. A wise man is quoted as saying that doing in business without good advertisement is like winking in the dark! You are up for success in business when you involve some of your time and resources in creating awareness about your business. Take advantage of all kinds of media; social, print or order forms of electronic media to advertise your business or products. Continuous advertisement is a key to success in business; rather than advertising for a while and stopping.

In your quest for success in business, you must have this at the back of your mind that nothing good comes easy. Successful life principles that doesn’t point out the importance of courage in the pursuit of any worthwhile dream is incomplete. Know that eventually only the courageous business person succeeds; this may just be the plodder that seems not
